Slender Body Type
If you have a slim figure throughout your entire body, then you can bet that you have a slender body type. You are more than likely to have a tall figure. Anything with a belted waist will usually draw attention to your slender frame wile adding some curve. Something with a thin strap will show off your slim shoulders. For wedding dresses, an off the shoulder would be very classy along with a high split.
Pear-Shaped Body Type
A pear shape body type is exactly what it sounds like. Hips are often more predominant than the upper body. The waistline is very well defined with a pear shape. A dress that shows off the waistline and adds volume to the bust will be a perfect wedding dress. A dress with a high neck and open back is something to consider. Look for dresses that accentuate the waistline.
Busty Body Type
A busty body type is when the bust is large, and the hips are narrower. The tip in shopping for a busty body type is to add balance. A high neck style dress is what typically makes a more balanced appearance for bust types. However, a sleeveless dress can hold up the high neck is what creates the more balanced style. Flowing gowns that are longer with a high split will draw attention to the legs.

Petite Body Type
A petite body type is when you are taller than 5 feet 3 inches. Your frame is typically smaller than all other body types. A lot of times people will say that you are short or smaller. This is because you have a beautiful petite body type. A form fitting dress will accentuate a petite figure well. A split will add length to your body type with some heels. High to low dresses are very stylish. The less fabric the better so as to not overwhelm your figure.
Hourglass Figure
This figure is when you have a very well-defined waist with thick hips and a busty top. The hips and the bust will be about the same size. Natural waistline dresses are best for the hourglass figure. A V-neck line or even an open neckline will be great for this body type. Even flowing gowns look great.
